Pandrol – a global engineering company that defines the industry standard across rail fastening systems and aluminothermic welding – is playing its part in the fight against coronavirus with the production and supply of 150 visors to healthcare facilities in France.

The company, which is headquartered in  Colombes, France made the visors using its 3D printing capability. The project was led by members of its welding and electrification teams.

Hospitals to receive the visors included Wattrelos University Hospital.

Eran Gartner, CEO of Pandrol, says:

“Along with many other companies worldwide, we were keen to get involved in the fight against Coronavirus. The production and supply of the visors was just one small way we could play our part in helping keep healthcare professionals, in the country where we’re headquartered, safe. The deliveries to the hospitals were very well received.”
