What are Cutting products and how do they work?
Cutting rail is mostly carried out during maintenance and installation work, or before welding operations, often when the rail is under tension. The Pandrol railsaws are built for these conditions, including when the rail is made from harder steel. A support arm with a tightening jaw fixes the saw rigidly to the rail, then guides it through the cut. A built-in cutting guide keeps every cut accurate and perpendicular to the rail, whichever type of abrasive rail cutting discs you use. Pandrol also supplies its own high-quality cutting discs, so your team can cut accurately and safely on every job. The support arm can be fitted on the inside or outside of the track without dismantling the tightening jaw.

Its powerful battery easily lasts a full shift, delivering up to 6 to 8 cuts on a single charge. It shares the same support arm, tightening jaw and cutting guide as the rest of the range, for the same rigid, accurate cut.
