Personal data protection

At Pandrol, data privacy is essential.

Pandrol data controller is Pandrol SAS. Pandrol ensures full compliance with applicable data protection laws and regulations and, more specifically the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016.

Users of the Pandrol portal and/or the Pandrol websites (the “Sites”) are hereby informed through this legal notice that when personal data may be collected on the portal, Pandrol is committed to protecting the users’ privacy by preserving the confidentiality and the integrity of each user’s personal data. When a user is visiting Pandrol websites, Pandrol does not collect any personal data and only monitors which pages are being used, and how they are being used, without any possibility to identify the user as an individual.

By becoming a registered user and/or by responding to surveys and/or any other requests on a site or sites, the user acknowledges and agrees that he/she is voluntarily providing to Pandrol and/or its subsidiaries worldwide, data of a personally identifiable nature concerning the user (e.g., name, address, telephone number or email address) (“Personal Data”). Personal Data then collected or processed by Pandrol as a result of users activities is generally used to reply to a user query, process orders or to provide the user access to specific account information on the site. Pandrol (or a third party on Pandrol’s behalf) may use personal data to contact the user registered on its site/sites about an Pandrol commercial offer, Pandrol news and/or during Pandrol’s online surveys, or upon request to a third party to identify the profiles of Pandrol’s clients and to improve its offer of products and services.

As a general rule, Pandrol refrains from selling, renting or otherwise marketing the personal data.

If collected, the user’s personal data are kept in a form which permits identification only for the period of time necessary for the purposes for which they are processed.

Security

Pandrol ensures that appropriate security, integrity, and confidentiality measures are implemented within Pandrol to provide protection against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage, using appropriate technical and organizational measures.

Pandrol also ensures that appropriate safeguards are duly implemented in order to provide an adequate level of protection to your personal data in case of international transfer.

Exercise of rights

Pursuant to the Legal Notice, the user has at any time, the right to access, rectify, and/or erase any personal data that could be held by Pandrol and/or the right to restrict or object to the processing of personal data.
