As part of the ongoing integration activity, Pandrol has launched new packaging for its aluminothermic welding products.
The introduction of new packaging comes as part of the ongoing evolution of the company’s brand identity, with Railtech and other Delachaux Group rail businesses coming together under one unified brand: Pandrol.
The new packaging has also been designed to deliver improved effectiveness and functionality. New features have been added to the packaging that will help customers to both access customer support and record weld information more easily. To support the global use of our welding products, the new packaging will feature multi-lingual product information. In addition, we have incorporated QR codes to support Pandrol’s ongoing development of data services, and the roll-out of the Pandrol Connect cell phone App which supports improved weld traceability.
Pandrol has also taken the environmental impact of the packaging in to consideration, opting for unbleached brown cardboard, and single color printing. All of Pandrol’s cardboard packaging is also fully recyclable.
The rebranding comes as part of a strategic review, with the objective to create a synergy from the combined strengths of the market-leading businesses to make Pandrol’s products and services more streamlined for our customers. As a single entity, Pandrol is looking beyond its existing product portfolio to focus on maximising rail infrastructure availability, safety and the lifetime value of rail infrastructure for customers.
The core focus of Pandrol’s aluminothermic welding product and service offering does not change, aiming to continue to offer customers quality, reliability and innovation that sets the industry standard.
The new packaging is being rolled out globally from September 2018.
