Pandrol Launches New Set Of Values After Engaging With Staff Through Global Survey And Workshops

Pandrol has launched its new set of company values with senior leaders hailing them as the standards upon which the global rail infrastructure specialist will continue to thrive.

The four values have been forged out of a lengthy consultation process which saw 621 employees contribute to a global staff survey and a series of workshops organised to gather further thoughts and feelings.

Pandrol CEO, Nicolas Groult, has hailed the new values – We are Accountable, We show Courage, We are Committed, We Care – as the ‘foundations of our culture and success”.

He joined other members of the Pandrol Leadership Team in recording a video to highlight the importance of the new values.

He comments: “Our values define who we are and how we treat each other as colleagues, customers, partners and communities. With our values, everybody knows what is expected of them and what makes Pandrol unique.

“We are Pandrol, and living our values will be key to the success of our company. Our values should be embedded in our day-to-day behaviours, actions and decisions by showing accountability, courage, commitment and caring about each other.”

Results of the employee survey saw 95% of respondents agree that company values are important, with family, honesty, respect, hard work and integrity among those most meaningful to them.

The survey also highlighted how Pandrol’s senior leadership team were seen as committed, focused and approachable, while being an industry-leader, working with great people and knowing that the business cared about the health and wellbeing of staff, were among the top reasons why employees felt proud to work for the company.

Alison Hunt of Pandrol’s Global Human Resources, comments: “We have put a lot of work into creating these values, we’ve listened to our employees, we’ve engaged the management teams, now it’s important that we start to see, hear and feel these values across the business.”

“Any business that has a clear set of values and a clear purpose can always help itself to attract and retain the key talent that it needs. Importantly for Pandrol, values provide us with a set of guiding principles that we can all to operate to and be successful by.”
