Pandrol is building on its history of innovation and product development by establishing a new Centre of Engineering Excellence for the development of rail infrastructure equipment at their Hudiksvall site in Sweden.
Pandrol is committed to the development of equipment which improves productivity and supports increased mechanisation for rail infrastructure. The Hudiksvall engineering facility is home to the development of Rosenqvist machines and tools, which support more efficient construction and maintenance of railway infrastructure across the world.
Erika Berg, Managing Director in Hudiksvall said:
“Our site in Sweden has an industry-leading engineering department and a workshop where Pandrol can develop and prototype equipment which supports our rail customers in managing their rail assets more efficiently, increasing uptime and maximizing availability of the railway”.
The opening of the Centre of Engineering Excellence in February 2018 was attended by Pandrol’s Equipment and Control Product Line director, Oliver Dolder, who stated:
“We have strong and skilled team of engineers who are experts in developing rail equipment products for customers around the world. By concentrating our product development activity in Hudiksvall, we can accelerate our equipment product development and focus our energies on market leading innovation.”
