The fully portable and completely autonomous Pandrol Handheld-Grinder B-115-MTR is the perfect track side tool for finishing grinding work on all types of Vignole rails. Powered by two new-generation lightweight Lithium HD batteries, the grinder is both powerful and reliable – a class-leading combination that makes it capable of finishing up to four welds on a single charge. This performance is supported by a special ergonomic design that makes the Pandrol grinder safe, easy to use and perfect for small track work. Like all Pandrol grinding equipment, this model has been specifically developed to maximise the life of the track across all rail heads and profiles.

Pandrol’s Profile Grinder (06000B) is a lightweight, precision grinding machine. Designed specifically for finish grinding of field welds, the Profile Grinder grinds the top and sides of the rail to the original profile. Recent improvements to the design allow for better clearance over field welds, risers and alignments. Lightweight and compact, Pandrol’s Profile Grinder is widely used across rail sectors globally.

The Pandrol Frog/Profile Grinder is a lightweight and highly precise grinding machine, purpose-built for grinding frogs and finishing field welds. With its ergonomic roll-over design, the tool allows operators to restore rail profiles with accuracy and minimal strain. It offers efficient, on-site versatility with an optional detachable outrigger specifically for frog grinding. For added safety, a flap-type spark guard is included to prevent sparks from reaching surrounding combustible materials. Designed for use in demanding rail environments, the Frog/Profile Grinder provides consistent results while prioritising operator comfort and workplace safety.

The Pandrol Surfacing Guide is a rugged but lightweight grinding attachment designed specifically for grinding the top of the rail. It is excellent for the finish grinding of field welds or rail end repairs. The extended guard offers excellent protection for the operator. Note: Model 00700C has factory installed Type 6 Stone Adaptor (00733-Kit) for use exclusively for a type 6 stone (00797).

The Pandrol Head Wash Grinder is used to prepare the rail for head wash repair aluminothermic welding. The hydraulic-powered, track-mounted machine grinds the head of the rail to remove defects efficiently and accurately. Pandrol’s Multi-Purpose Grinder (06950) is a versatile tool that is suitable from field grinding to switch points and frogs. Ergonomically designed, the grinder allows operators to remain standing while grinding rails – an adjustable rear handle enables the tool to be positioned for height and comfort. When grinding is complete, the handle can be lowered and swivelled around for compact storage.
